On Hold series flips the script on the whole “Asian-American sidekick” thing and throws us straight into the messy, chaotic, slightly unhinged world of NYC fashion and entertainment. It’s a half-hour dramedy packed with satire, cringe, and coming-of-age energy—following Gen Z and millennial creatives just trying to make it (or at least survive trying).

Think: colorful, raw, a little gritty, and very real.
